AUTUMN
ADVENTURES

The Turner Town Cider Mill was finally open again.  Joy loved watching the water wheel at the mill, participating in the fall events, and of course, tasting the delicious cider and donuts.  The apple museum with the country and antique shop was always nice to check out.  Hay wagon rides in front of the building took mill visitors to other fun activities.  In the past, Joy picked fresh fruit at the nearby apple orchard, or selected bright orange pumpkins at the pumpkin patch.  However, Joy always wanted to try the corn maze too, but somehow she never could quite figure out the maze maps.  Could she finally navigate the many corn stalk rows or would she be lost in the maze forever?!!  Does she dare go in?  Just then a staff member at the mill announced that a special map-reading lesson was being held in the downstairs hall classroom.  Perfect timing – Joy may conquer that corn maze after all!
