Once Upon a Time

Joy loved spending the night at her grandmother’s house. It was such a fun place to be, with fresh cookies in the oven, tea parties and painting, crafts and dress-up. Joy liked sitting on the balcony and her grandmother even decorated a very special room for Joy with lots of dolls, stuffed animals, toys and books.

Grandma would always read a fairy tale to Joy before bedtime, but sometimes the grandmother would become very tired and skip a few sentences in the story. Somehow, even though she couldn’t read yet, Joy always knew when Grandma missed a line and she wasn’t shy in telling her so! With Joy’s help, they finished her favorite story together and Joy could drift off to sleep, “happily ever after!”
